The Set Up
- Each table sponsorship seats four players.
- These same four players will compete together for the duration of the tournament.
- This event is designed for players with a working knowledge of American Mahjong.
- It is not intended for those who are new to the game.
The Rules
- Play follows the 2026 National Mahjong League Card and rules.
- Each table plays 4 games — at the end of each game, raise your “paddle” for a judge to come and award points.
- Points awarded based on card value, plus:
- +5 points for picking your own mahjong tile
- +10 points for no jokers in all hands (except singles and pairs)
- Remember – this is friendly competition for a good cause!
